Sustainably Connected” was the slogan of this year’s European Mobility Week, which took place from 16 to 22 September 2022.
On 19 September 2022, Ljubljana hosted a lively event – ŽurMOBIL – to promote current projects in the field of sustainable mobility and to raise awareness about sustainable travel.
What is sustainable mobility and what habits can we change to reduce our carbon footprint? What are the solutions that the Ljubljana Urban Region will benefit from with the help of European co-funding? What does LPP have to offer? How do new transport modalities contribute to reducing our carbon footprint? Visitors could find the answers to these and other questions at the projects’ promotional stands, while practical prizes and treats awaited them.
At the Sustourismo: Mobility and Tourism, Hand in Hand for Sustainable Development stand, Prometni institut Ljubljana and RRA LUR presented the SUSTOURISMO project and app, explained all about the free guided cycling tours around the Ljubljana Marshes, and visitors could enjoy a freshly prepared smoothie.
